Dear Sir

Thanks for writing to us.

Your daughter has difficulty in walking and avoid climbing stairs since 2 yeras probable causes can be :
1. Proximal muscle weaknes , Myopathies

2. Osteomalacia /Rickets

3. Pain in walking due to any local cause.

Have you ever noticed her having difficulty in getting up from squatting position?
Difficulty in combing hair?
Any structural deformity you have noticed?
Any muscle atrophy?

I may be able to help you more with these details.

I advise you to take her to a doctor for complete neurological examination.
