Hi,

Thank you for contacting Healthcare magic.

For chronic migraine, there are two types of treatment required- preventive and for acute headaches.

Since you have frequent headaches, you should start preventive medicines to prevent the repeated episodes of headache. Common drugs in this group are flunarizine, Topiramate, divalproex, beta blockers, etc.

In addition, you also require medicines for pain relief. Rizora belongs to this group. The safe dose for rizora is uptp 20 mg per day and not more than 40 mg per week.

Wishing you good health,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
