i have been diagonsed with pericardial effusion i have been put on a course of tablets.
how long before this condition subsides and is cured, i've had it for about a year. what should avoid. i still have a discomfort (presure) at the top of my chest

Hello, looking at your case history I would request you to provide a little more details for me to deduce the etiology of the pericardial effusion and to give you an idea about the time required for it to heal. Specifically I would need the results of fluid analysis if done, 2D Echocardiography and medications you are currently taking.
