Can Medication Completely Cure Brucellosis?
My niece was admitted in the hospital before one month with high fever and vommitting first they said pericardial effusion partial pericardiotomy done and then pneumonia finally they diagnosed brucellosis.rifampicin with doxy is going on.but one fever spike is coming dailydaily.is it completely curable with medicines please give me your suggestion. patient is under treatment atahospital. a group of doctors must have examined her and advised her different investigation. by going through the history and without examining the patient, how it is possible to advise. for the time being you have to trust the doctors. if not satisfied then have to take discharge at your own risk and get her admited to another hospital for second opinion.
