Takes Medication For High BP, Recently BP Was Elevated And Asked To Increase Dose. On Anti Depressant

My mother takes medication for high blood pressure. After her last visit with her family doctor, she was told her blood pressure was elevated, so go home, take twice the normal amount as well as 2 valium. Could there be any possible interactions between these two types of drugs. She is also currently taking two types of anti-depressants as well as heart medication.
