Swollen Parotid Glands For 3 Weeks. Seen Doctors, No Improvement. Suggestions?
Hi I have swollen parotid glands, I have had them for three weeks now,the first time I saw a doctor he said it could be mumps but said take some antibiotics this would cover anything else but if it is a virus it would do nothing, I then saw my own doctor who seems to think they would go down within a few days,they have not and I am getting worried they will not go down I just don't seem to be getting any better

You have swollen parotid glands for 3 weeks. You need to require some investigations to rule out the exact cause of parotid swelling such as
1. Serum amylase
2. USG parotid Swelling
3. FNAC of parotid swelling if requires.
Better to consult ENT specialist.
