Swollen Lip, Painful, Weakness. Habit Of Chewing Tobacco. What Could Be This?

Hello,
I am worried about my husband. He is 33 and has been using chewing tobacco on and off for a few years. This morning he woke up with a swollen lip. One half of his lower lip is swollen and painful he says. He also isn't feeling well today and came home early and just went to bed. He says he feels like something is wrong. Weakness, fatigue etc. He thinks it's some sort of infection. He agreed to go to the doctor tomorrow if it doesn't improve. I've been worrying for years about him getting oral cancer so now I'm sitting here googling, which probably isn't the best thing to do. Am I just paranoid or is there reason for concern? Thanks.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.
I have gone through your history.

It seems that your husband is having local infection as symptoms of cancer would not be all of a sudden and also not this much of painful.

You should consult your doctor to control of infection.

You should take your husband to psychiatrist/ deaddiction specialist to stop tobacco.
Thanks.
