Swelling In Feet, Hair Loss, Areas Of Redness After Taking Lisinopril, Navosc, Maxide

Yes, since I started blood pressure meds in Oct. 2011 I have developed many side effects - swelling in my feet (never had it before), hair loss (lisinopril) changed to Navosc and Maxide (aches in lower legs and upper arms, and, now, small red areas of redness - no pain in that area speciically, but red but not swollen. Very annoyed to be having so many side effects now.

The amlodepin/Norvasc causes ankle oedema as it is a calcium channel blocker(CCB) and this is a class effect of the drug. The skin redness and aches and pains may be due to the hydrochlothiazide(HCZ) in the Maxide. You need to discuss this with your doctor and look for alternative drugs.
