Swelling, Heaviness And Tingling In Right Calf Muscle. No Abnormal Findings In Any Tests. Suggest
Hello, My right calf muscle has been swollen for about 5 years now and will not go away. It hasn't got worse or better but it just stays the same. I have a tingling sensation and it always feels heavy on the right side of my right calf. I have been to many doctors and have had many tests done but everyone says they can not find anything abnormal. Is there anything else that it could be? This has been driving me crazy and would do anything to help the swelling go down. I am only 32 years old and confused on why this happened at such a young age.
I can understand your dilemma. However you have not shared the investigation findings for me to give you guidance. Has a Doppler study of the blood flow in the calf been done? If not then kindly discuss with your doctor and get it done. The tingling sensation can be due to some nerve been compressed due to the swelling.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
