Hi,
If a fishbone had been stuck for 3 months you would probably be experiencing symptoms of pain and infection. This would be pain, possibly sharp in nature, in your esophagus or upper chest behind your sternum. Infection would cause a fever. If you are feeling something abnormal when you swallow then an ENT specialist would be able to examine your upper airway by indirect laryngoscopy to exclude something stuck or any abnormal tissues.
