Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! I am suffering with peripheral spondylosis arthritis ..But I more often feel the symptoms to be of sciatica.!! Kindly please suggest what type of medication is suitable for me.and also I have increased levels of SGOT & SGPT... I had been taking allopathic medicine and now taking unani medicine...but, none reduced the pain.
First of all I would suggest you to take Neural vitamins for the nerve injury that is being caused. Neural vitamins include Vit B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12. As your case is complicated with raised SGOP, SGPT i recommend a visit to a Spine Surgeon to discuss any surgical options you might opt for. Thank you. For current pain relief try hot fomentation and over the counter pain killers like Ibuprofen if there is no Cirrhosis.
