Hi thanks for contacting HCM.... Once infected with HBSag then most of people recover from acute hepatitis.... But few 4 to 5 % case can get converted into chronic case or carrier.... So if after 6 month of infection patient is HBSag positive then it is the carrier case.... It has no permenent cure... If in active stage then antiviral drug can be given.... Otherwise care taken to prevent the complication ..... Low fat diet advisable with more fruits.... Green leafy veg more..... Regular follow up done..... Avoid alcohol if habit.... Take care....
