Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hepatitis C virus infection affects the liver and is known to cause chronic disease.
The risk during pregnancy is to pass on the infection to the new born.
At this point of time, you need to get hepatitis C RNA load to know the actual burden of the virus RNA.
The more the hepatitis C RNA load more is the risk and lower the viral load less is the risk of chronicity and passage of infection to newborn.
In addition, you need to consult your physician and obstetrician for start of anti-viral therapy which is safe during pregnancy.
The aim is to reduce viral load and to clear the infection so that it does not cause chronicity and it does not pass on to the baby.

Thanks and take care
