Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection On The Chest

I have a serious Yeast Infection on my chest, under both breasts & its only getting worse..I have had (3) Doctors tell me it s a yeast infection, no question @ it! I ve been using Linzess for several months @ was told it it had nothing 2 do with Linzess. The Doctor did prescribe (2) Meds for me to use 2 improve this yeast infection from spreading further. the 1st one is an ointment called Ketconazole, @ the other one is a medicated powder called Nystop. I have to wash my breasts 2 x daily & wear a folder towel under my breasts & a sports bra only & a 100% cotton tshirt! I m @ my wits end cause nothing is clearing it up! what do you suggest I do?? I ve already seen an Allergist @ Internist a skin Doctor. Nancy Cataldi

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply topical antifungal like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
