General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to nerve entrapment syndromes like carpal tunnel syndrome. Nerve conduction study will be helpful to rule out this. MRI will be required in case of doubtful diagnosis or in case of suspection of any mass growths. If it is carpal tunnel syndrome then if conservative treatment is not working then carpal tunnel release surgery can be considered.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
