Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

In your case, first all the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal should be treated.

I advice you to,
- Take tab. Lorazepam 2 mg 1-1-1 or Tab. Diazepam (5 mg) 1-1-1

- If withdrawal seizures are noted, then Inj. Diazepam or Inj. Phenytoin sodium I. V should be given

- Physical restraint may be required

- Vital body parameters must be monitored regularly.

- Nutritional status and electrolyte balance must be maintained.

- Inj Thiamine 100 mg IM od gives better results.

- Do LFT to assess the liver function periodically

- Once all the signs of alcohol withdrawal completely settle down, then take

Tab. Disulfiram 250 mg (tapering dose )
1st day : 1-1-1-1
2nd day : 1-1-1
3rd day : 1-0-1
4th day onwards : 1-0-0

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
