Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain While On Implanon

hi I had the implomon for 3 years feb 2014 to feb 2017and I gain about 36 pound now that it is off will I be able to loose the wait because I have been exercising for 8 months not loosing any weight with it on not going to take any birth control pills or anything just condoms. I want to loos weight please help me because I have a high cholostrol and I have to watch what I eat and I have been eating the same thing for 12 years

There, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic. In my opinion your weight gain has more to do with your diet and exercise than to relate with Implanon.

Large scientific studies have shown that weight gain with Implanon is hardly to the tune of 1 to 2 kg over a period of one year.

I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits and vegetables and salads in daily diet. Avoid refined sugars and deep fried foods and bakery products in the diet.

Regular cardiovascular exercise and strength training exercise under supervision of trainer is advisable. If you decide about losing weight on your own then it's not a difficult task at all.
