Suggest Treatment For Water Blister On Lower Leg

I have a water blister on my lower leg (ankle) - have had a few times in past 3 years.. I am 75 years old male and am a Dialysis Patient. I guess I need to tell all - I had constipation a few weeks ago and did a lot of straining - this triggered off a small but PAINFUL roid - I am treating it with 2% cortisone and Prep H. I read somewhere that the anti inflammatory cortisone might have caused the blister, but also fluid retention. 1- Is there a method of treating the water blister 2- Do you have any comments on a way to stop the pain of the roid (not bleeding, just one external) any comments or questions email YYYY@YYYY

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is bullous pemphigoid which is an autoimmune disease that causes blisters over the body usually over the lower limbs.Topical steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral corticosteroid may be used after consulting your dermatologist. Regards
