Suggest Treatment For Vitamin B12 And D3 Deficiency

Hi, I suffer from B12 and D3 deficiency. I am only taking D-Rise 2000 once a day for D3. Is it the correct dosage? What should I take for increasing my B12 levels? Also, I am a vegetarian so please suggest what I could eat to get back to my normal vitamin levels because I have dropped 5 kgs in 2 weeks and no matter what I eat, my weight won t increase.

Hello,

Vegetarians are at a higher risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. The following are my recommendations:
1) B12 is high in milk, cheese, curd like dairy products. So you can have them as they are vegetarian.
2) You can take cap. Becosules daily twice for all the vitamins especially B12 supplementation. You need to take it for 4-6 months.
3) Vitamin D is supplemented by D rise 1000-3000 IU/day. It is to be taken for 2-3 months.
4) After 3 months check the levels of vitamin B12 and vitamin D3. If they are still not adequately increased, continue to use the treatment for 2 more months.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
