Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Itching While On Bactrim

I have suffered with vaginal itching for over a week now. I tried monistat 1 day... twice because I was on a cruise and couldn t get any other medication. It did not work. I then consulted a doctor on board who gave me a prescription for Bactrim. The antibiotics seemed to help for a couple days but the itching is back and intense again. Worried?
