Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Dryness And Bleeding During Intercourse

What is the best treatment for vaginal dryness with vaginal bleeding post intercourse? I am71yo and have an active sex life with my husband but due to hospitalization (bilateral pneumonia with sepsis,collapsed left lung with chest tube inserted) of 21 days and no intercourse fo 2 months. I had total abd hysterectomy/oophrectomy at age40 . Have been off estrogen patches for 15 years and have never had this problem I the past.

You can try topical treatment to see if this would help. Topical lubricants can be helpful ,this can be hormonal (estrogen cream) or non hormonal (such as k y jelly) .

The estrogen cream may require a prescription but you can try the non hormonal treatment initially to see if this works.
These would be available over the counter at your local pharmacy.
