Hi, I am 41 years old. I have 4 children all normal delivery. I had ligation after my 4th child. During routine ultrasound, it was discovered that I have fibriods in my uterus measuring 4.8*4.7*4.7cm vol 5.8cc. The uterus measures 10.2*8.2*5.9 cm. the doctor suggested to go ahead with laparoscopic hysterectomy where the ovaries will be conserved so that my hormones will not be affected. Is this the best way of treatment since my family is complete ? Will I feel the same , post this operation ? I have always had heavy bleeding during my periods.
