Suggest Treatment For Twitching Of Face With CAT Reports Normal

I ve had this twitching in my face for about two months now. It started on the right side in my eye. Then a few days later moved down to my right cheek, and then a few days later into my mouth. Now it s the whole right side of my face that twitches and it s driving me nuts. I have a history of strokes and colon cancer and I went to my doc to get checked and she sent me to get a cat scan and x-ray of my neck and head and I also did the scan of my pelvis for the cancer area. Everything was clear according to the results. No strokes or mini-strokes found. But the twitching seems to be getting worse. Is there something I should be worried about or just take it a day at a time?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Don't worry about the twitches, these are a common problem and mainly seen in eyelids. It may be due to anxiety and depression. Treatment is not necessary. After a few weeks, it will disappear it's own.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
