General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

There are many causes of lumps in the throat.
The most common lumps or swellings are enlarged lymph nodes.
These can be caused by bacterial or viral infections.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.
If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see an ENT specialist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
