Suggest Treatment For Terminating A Pregnancy

Hi Doctor, I am Mrs Priya , Married since 3 months, missed my period this month.. checked with the pregnancy strip and found positive. I took Unwanted Kit Mankind without doctor consultation yesterday and so far dint find any difference. Please advice.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Never use unwanted kit without prescription and advice of gynecologist as it causes excessive bleeding and other complications.
Always follows dosage direction of gynecologist.
You can use this kit only for up to 9 week of intrauterine pregnancy.

Tab. Mifepristone 600 mg orally to be followed after 48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol 800 mcg, maximum up to 3 dose every 6-8 hours.
Generally bleeding and cramp will occur after 1-2 hour after last misoprostol dose.

So if you had take correctly wait for bleeding.
Best advice is to consult the gynecologist, undergo USG and if needed select surgical process of abortion if medical treatment does not work.

I really appreciate your concern, the medicine that you took "unwanted" is not for termination of pregnancy but this is contraceptive medicine, in my opinion better to get done the ultrasonography test because urine test may give false result, if the sonography is positive then better to carry the pregnancy, termination of pregnancy is not good idea, and not advisable too, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
