Suggest Treatment For Tension Headaches Due To Post Natal Depression And Anxiety

Hi I ve been suffering with tension headaches over the past several weeks as I have a 5month old who is a very restless sleeper. The past couple of mornings I ve woken with this headache tightness too an it has lasted throughout the day only slightly easing with ibuprofen. I know I need to try an get more rest but is this anything I should worried about. I saw my local go last week who said its normal to have the evenings especially when tired and she would be concerned if I was to be waking with them and now I am. I also have post natal depression madly and anxiety. Thank you

Hello,

I strongly suggest you to see your doctor to see you closely and to start the antidepressants treatment. It seems like post party depression. No worries it will shortly pass after sometime of treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
