Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend has been complaining about the tip of his penis, he says after I gave him oral like 4/5 days ago his penis has been feeling a little tender. Now there s no sores or blisters or lesions of any sort and he says it s not red but he did say it feels a little weird when he pees I asked him if it burned and he so no and I do recall drinking some glasses of wine right before I went down on him. So could he have some sort of chemical/ bacterial infection? We ve NEVER had unprotected sex so I m doubting it s an STD
As per my clinical experience, seems early stage of urethritis most likely bacterial infection of urinary tract rather than sexually transmitted infection. As the intercourse was protected and oral sex does give rise to external pathology as Herpes or others, but not urethritis. Kindly ask him to get a urine microscopy done with the lab and get prescription of: - Urinary antibiotics - Analgesic and anti inflammatory medications - Chewable vitamin C Till he recovers, kindly stay away from any type of protected or unprotected sexual acts.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
