Suggest Treatment For Tenderness In Temple After Injury
My trunk hit my right temple hard when closing. The area is tender and sore- and I ve felt slightly more tired than usual in the days after - but no other symptoms. My husband keeps telling me I should have it checked - is he right - or is that true only if symptoms worsen?

Normally imaging is needed after head injury if one or more of the following is present: (1) headache
(2)vomiting
(3)age older than 60
(4)drug or alcohol addiction
(5)seizure
(6)visible trauma not above the clavicle
(7)persistent short amnesia
If any of these are present then you should visit your doctor for an evaluation which may include a CT.
