Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have what I would call a tender spot on the back side of my head that randomly shoots a sharp pain that gives me a jolt it is so severe with the pulsation. I cannot even touch the area. It is almost like shingles would feel to touch it, but it is just a fingertip spot, not a pathway. I did not have any type of trauma and it came on suddenly yesterday. I cannot figure out what it is or what I should do about it?
HI Well come to HCM Formation of abscess may be likely right now this could be indurated and this condition can be treated with Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg and Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day, watch for any changes, if this increased in the size and became more tender with local temperature then clinical examination would be necessary, take care.
