I am 43 year old white female. I have been having pain in my mid section, sides and back. The pain gradually started almost 2 weeks ago and it feels as if getting worse with each passing day. At first I thought it was a UTI so I ve been treating with cranberry juice and microbid antibiotic for UTI. I stopped taking the antibiotic because it wasn t helping and it normally would. I am well hydrated drinking water, Gatorade or cranberry juice. My symptoms include constant pressure pain, I feel like I m swelled, I can lay on my side and items to worsen the pain and when I urinate it doesn t hurt but it is like dark yellow and orange mixed. I ve had UTI s most my life and I ve had two kidney stones with the most recent one a year ago with surgery to remove it. I had a hysterectomy in 2003 due to a softball size fibroid and while in surgery the doctor removed a softball size benign tumor from my ovaries and they removed my appendix as well. I also had gallbladder removed in 1997 after my daughter was born because of gallstones. I do not have high blood pressure and I am not a diabetic.
