Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck

My wbc finally where in normal but my lymph are 3.4 still high in a course 6 months. Iwithin this time my lymph node swelled up in my neck and my hematologist prescribed an antibiotic (which I don t feel sick) and ordered a CT of my neck. Is my health leading towards that as problem and why did he prescribe antibotics?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Because it may be an infection. I recommend you get an ultrasound of your neck rather than a CT.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
