Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lump On The Hand

I had a sudden swelling on the top of my hand that was bruised as well. I had no trauma to the hand it just happened spontaneously. At first it appeared as a large lump in the center of the top of the hand but over night the swelling lowered but spread over the entire top of the hand and the fingers. This occurred 4 days ago and most of the swelling has gone done but the bruising remains and there is still pain when gripping or moving of the fingers.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query.
It is difficult to comment on it without examination, so I would either suggest you to see doctor for examination and for exact diagnosis or upload the pictures here, I'll go through them, and provide you with specific advice.
It might be hematoma, but needs examination for confirmation. In the absence of trauma we have to check the platelet count.
Hope this helps.
Take care
