Suggest Treatment For Swollen Groin, Stiffness And Spasms In Hips And Back

Hi. I started having a back spasm Thursday morning, that night my back and hip got stiff, but not very painful. The next morning the pain increased in my right hip, top of my quads and the hip flexor groin area. Now there is some numbness in that hip and some swelling in the groin area. Can t get around much at all, pretty much just to the bathroom and back.

Hi,

Your symptoms could have different reasons. May be because of the localised spasm due to heavy work or some compression in Lumbo Sacral region.

You need to share more symptoms eg fever , exact location on groin area , type of swelling viz soft , red , etc and as you said you are not able to walk , so you need to contact a physician first for the primary diagnosis by clinical examination and investigations etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Fatima Clinic
