Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cheek And Black Eye After Injury
I fell on porcelain tile floor late Saturday night and hit right side of face - upper cheek. I initially had a small scar which became swollen and later formed a black eye. I have been icing for a couple of days and started with heat yesterday but I still have swelling and discoloration today. I d heard the discoloration takes a while to go away but I thought the swelling would be all gone by now. What should I do at this point?
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your face and upper cheek and you got hematoma with a small scar. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself .Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. You can take analgesic such as diclofenac for pain, if any. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
