Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cervical Node In The Neck

I took my daughter to an ENT for a swollen cervical node in her neck. This ENT spent 10 minutes in the room and told us he was sure it was nothing. He sent us for an ultrasound just to make sure. I got a call from his nurse today that he is referring us to another ENT because there were more nodes swollen in her neck. Why would he refer us out?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
She may have enlarged lymphnodes. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic carcinoma. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
