Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Red Toes
I dropped a heavy object on my big toe a couple of weeks ago. Now toe is swollen, red, and looks like it might have puss underneath. Also has a very bad odor, different from just foot odor. Also looks like bottom of toe nail is separating from toe. What can I do for it? Do not have job or insurance. Cannot afford to go to doctor. How can I take care of it myself? Will it eventually heal.

Looking to the history due to injury on big toe brought some hemorrhage and some soft tissue injury under toe nail and now nail bed infection leading to pus formation and separation of toe nail.
Consult your doctor, he will try to remove the nail if separation is complete and will go for dressing.
You will require one course of antibiotic medicine course for 5 days.
Go for few dressings.
Ok and take care.
