Could Dr Scholls 2 Drop Corn Remedy For Corns On Toes Cause Discoloration?

Hi I have had corns on my toes for years, so I chose to start using dr scholls 2 drop corn remedy. But I am afraid from getting discoloration after the treatment. Please let me know if this is a safe treatment because I don t want to worsen the appearance of my toes

Hi,

I can understand your concern for corns on toes.

If I were your treating dermatologist then would have suggested you to apply Salicylic acid 17 % on the corn at night time in a very thin layer so that it should not be visible to the naked eye. A warm compression for 10 -15 minutes is beneficial before applying the lotion. A plain antibacterial cream such as fusidic acid or mupirocin (latest is retapamulin) can be applied to prevent secondary infection.

The only precaution you must follow is not to touch, pinch pop or squeeze any of them other wise it can get infected and can cause complications.
