Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Lower Lip

my lower lip has been continually swelIing slowly since @ 10am - haven't eaten anything unusual or applied different face crème, and toothpaste is the same Have applied ice early since it started, first on the left side of the lip & has continued to the whole bottom lip???

Thanks for the query..

Well, continuous swelling of the lower lip seems to be pointing towards Allergic reaction causing Allergic Angioedema of lip..
It can be due to any food or medication while other causes can be allergic reaction to any skin cosmetic, soap, lip balm etc..
Any bug bite or accidental ingestion of certain chemicals in drinking water can also be a cause.
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations
like blood tests for allergies like RAST TEST, Patch test, Food Challenge test can help in ruling out the
exact cause of the symptoms and treat accordingly.
As of now take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl..
Do cool compresses over the lips .
You can be advised injectable steroids and antihistamines to reduce swelling..
