Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Knee And Joints Pain

I am over 60, took levaquin in June for an unexplained fever. I am having trouble with knee swelling and pain, shoulder pain, pain in my thumb joints. If this is from taking this drug, will the symptoms go away? I m a runner and this is stopping me from even walking, and has been ongoing since June. thought it was just some arthritis, but now I m not so sure.

Hi,

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like arthritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
