Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Legs After Knee Surgery

Thank you. I had knee surgery in right knee 4weeks ago. Trimmed out torn cartilage and some arthritus. I have been having severe swelling (or fluid) in both legs. Right one is a little worse. I can hardly get around. Called surgeon, he told me it couldn t be the surgery if I had it in both legs. Said to call my primary dr. Which I did, she said to call the surgeon. Iam in the process of looking for a new primary dr.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you had knee surgery in right knee four weeks ago. You have been having severe swelling (or fluid) in both legs. Your surgeon told you that it could not be due to the surgery if you had it in both legs .Your surgeon is correct if you have swelling in both feet it is likely to be due to heart or kidney or some general cause.
