Suggest Treatment For Subchondral Sclerotic Focus

Sir,I Dr. Parmar had segmental resection of pelvic colon for cancer in 2003 followed by chemotherapy then had right hepatectomy for solitary secondary in2006. now having backache for one month. On MRI small subchondral sclerotic focus in D-12 seen. I am fearing it may be secondary in bone. What investigation & treatment do you advise at this time?

It is unlikely a bone secondary. You can opt got PET-CT to look for any recurrence.
