Suggest Treatment For Strep Throat
Hi there I have strep throat that is still positive after three days of penicillin 300mg. He told me to try clarithromtcin 500 mg. I didn t ask if I should take them together? I m getting more and more sick as th night progresses. Can you please help?

pencillin is first step of treatment strept but for 10 days...if it failed there may be resistance to pencillin...so better to use amoxicillin +clavulinic acid...discuss it with your doctor...it will give better results...hope that help...thanks
