ive currently had strep throat for 4 days and with it came a cold in which i got a very bad cough and a runny nose. i just noticed yesterday that i have very severe pain in my sternum area when i swallow food and beverages, so bad that ive considered not eating meals so i wouldnt have to go through the pain. i originally thought it was my esophageous and i just had indigestion but it doesnt seem to be going away. then i thought i may have hurt a muscle from coughing so much (because my cough is pretty violent) but i didnt know about that either if there is any way you could tell me what im up against right now that would be very helpful and much appreciated.
