Suggest Treatment For Strain On Left Leg And In Groin Area

Hello I have strained my left leg and also in the groin area. I saw the Dr on Monday He said I have strains and I even have done some tearing to the tendon in that area. I have not been able to do to much. I have notice that I have swelling Of my left leg. Should I seek medical attention? My knee cap is also puffy.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Yes. You need to seek medical attention immediately. Tear in tendon and ligament with puffy knee cap has to be managed by an Orthopedic surgeon. With the treatment and physiotherapy, you should recover well, but might take a month or so.
