Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain , Gastritis And Diarrhea
my son, 14 yrs old, recently had diareha which i treated with Immodium pills, yesterday. Tonight I noticed he forgot to flush the toilet. His poop looked like white meatballs. Is this caused from the diareha, or someting else? He seems to get gas a lot and have stomach pain from gas he says.

It can be caused by a bacterial or parasite infection. He can try antigas medication and antidiarrheal, to see if will help his symptoms. Hoever, the best way is to take samples of the stool for ova and parasite and regular bacterial culture to see if we can identify the organism and treated. If no improvement, he might need an upper and lower endoscopy.
