Suggest Treatment For Stiff Neck And Lump At The Back Of Lower Neck

My 4yr old has been complaining of a stiff neck. And is trying to stretch it a lot. For about 2-3 weeks now. Today I noticed a lump on back of his lower neck. About even with shoulders, and right in the middle. Can you please give me some insight on this? And what concerns I should have.

Neck stiffness in this age due to muscular problem could be very less likely and this is happened then it may be due to infection, lower respiratory infection may be the cause or it may be due to cervical lymph node swelling (Infection ) hope this information helps, take care
