Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been getting some pain near my sternum area on the right side. I also at times feel like my lungs are very contricted like I can not take a full breath. I try to take a deep breath and it doesnt feel like my lungs are opening all the way. What could this be?
It could be a local inflammation or contusion. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
