Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rashes On Neck

I have a eczema type rash that started a year ago in one spot at the nape of my neck. It never fully went away and has now spread to the other side of my neck and lower neck near shoulder. I am now getting on my face near nose and woke up this morning feeling like my face was on fire, extremely itchy and looked like sunburn. It was extremely burning like in the hot shower. What is this?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of spreading rashes on neck . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like excessive sun exposure, photodermatitis, contact dermatitis , skin infection , eczema, bug bite and other medical condition . I would suggest you to stop using any cosmetic product , only apply petroleum jelly , protect your skin from sun exposure , and apply broad spectrum sunscreen when in exposure to sun . Also take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl. It is very important to find out responsible factor .Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , take history , order skin test for allergy and blood test . Doctor may order corticosteroid ointment , anti allergic medicine , antibiotics .
