Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat on left side which seems to be mainly due to bacterial infection, poor oral hygiene leading to strep throat and tonsil infection due to which there is difficluty in mouth opening.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you
- Take ibuprofen and proper course of antibiotics.
- Avoid hot sharp and spicy food substances.
- Avoid intake of cold beverages and take steam inhalation.
- You should take anti inflammatory medications as well.
- Take light and soft food and avoid intake of hard food.
Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test or throat swab test to confirm the diagnosis and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
