Suggest Treatment For Small Red Bumps On The Penis

I have small red bumps around the base of my penis, they do not itch, or burn, and they aren t able to be popped with out actually just picking at them. They haven t gone away for about two months, but they sometimes get smaller as if they are going away but the return to normal size, what are they? Should I be worried?

Hello,

Bumps at the base of the penis are commonly drug rash, yeast infection, psoriasis, lichen planus, etc. These can e treated by applying topically corticosteroid ointments.

However, such symptoms can also be due to STD. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP & get all STD tests done so that you can be treated at the earliest.

Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. Take care of your hygiene. Stay away from multiple partners if you are sexually active. Avoid addictions if any, perform safe sex.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
